The framework for the management of bleeding disorders in Australia
The framework for the management of bleeding disorders in Australia (framework) provides an overview of the governance structures in Australia to ensure people with bleeding disorders have access to appropriate care and treatment. It is not a guide to appropriate clinical practice and should be read in conjunction with the Australian Haemophilia Centre Director’s Organisation’s position statement(Opens in a new tab/window) to the 2020 World Federation Guidelines(Opens in a new tab/window) for the Management of Hemophilia. The NBA will periodically review the framework to ensure it remains up to date with governance changes in the bleeding disorders sector.
The framework replaces Chapter 8 – The framework for management of bleeding disorders in Australia of the 2016 Guidelines for the management of haemophilia in Australia.
